Teacher Terms and Conditions

Throughout this document the terms "you" and "your" will refer to the teacher and "we" and "our" will refer to expressive-guitar-lessons.com.

Lessons

You agree to contact the student within 24 hours of being provided the students contact information. You will notify the student of any cancellation or rescheduling of a lesson within 24 hours before the lesson time. You agree to be on time for each lesson taught. 

You will be solely responsible for lesson plans and ensuring the student is making reasonable progress while having an enjoyable experience. You and the student can meet at any time and place that you mutually agree as long as the lessons are weekly.

At our sole discretion, with or without cause, we reserve the right to remove a teacher from any student's lessons at any time or completely terminate the teachers employment with expressive-guitar-lessons.com.

You can also terminate employment at anytime by notifying expressive-guitar-lessons.com. 

Time and Pay

Within 24 hours of teaching any lesson you will enter a time-sheet form which will be provided by expressive-guitar-lessons.com. Paychecks will be mailed out by regular mail or paypal by the 3rd of each month for lessons taught in the previous month.

Legal/Tax

You will be paid as an independent contractor and your 1099 form will be mailed to you by February 1st for the previous year. We will not deduct any taxes from your paychecks. You are responsible for reporting any income to the I.R.S. 

Non-Compete Clause

You agree you will not teach any student of expressive-guitar-lessons.com independently during your employment with expressive-guitar-lessons.com or anytime within a period of two years thereafter.
